ROACH Refund & Warranty Policy

At ROACH LLC, we build hardware for the absolute edge. Due to the high-performance nature and the sensitive security protocols of an air-gapped system, our return policy is strictly enforced to ensure the integrity of every unit that leaves our facility.

 

1. No Returns or Refunds

 

All sales are final. We accept absolutely no refunds or returns for "buyer’s remorse" or change of mind. Once a ROACH unit has been purchased, it is considered a permanent hardware allocation.

2. Packaging & Security Seal

Due to the sensitive nature of the sovereign hardware and the risk of supply-chain tampering, we cannot accept any ROACH units that have been removed from their original packaging.

  • Any unit with a broken factory seal is ineligible for return.

  • This policy ensures that every customer receives a device that is 100% "air-gap pure" and has not been subjected to unauthorized data ingestion or physical hardware modification.

3. 1-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty

We stand behind the "Fortress" we’ve built. Every ROACH comes with a one (1) year manufacturer warranty.

  • Scope: This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

  • Coverage: We guarantee that the custom 6061 Aluminum Alloy chassis, the compute module, and the internal BMS will be free from manufacturer defects for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery.

  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by unauthorized modifications, immersion beyond IP67/IPX7 ratings, or battery failure due to the use of non-certified 18650 cells.

4. Defective Unit Protocol

If you believe you have received a defective unit, you must contact ROACH Support immediately.

  • Verification: We will perform a remote diagnostic (if possible) or a physical inspection of the returned hardware to verify a manufacturer defect.

  • Remedy: If the defect is confirmed, we will—at our discretion—repair the unit or replace it with a new equivalent.

  • Shipping: The customer is responsible for secure, insured shipping for any authorized warranty returns.
